- Deck the halls with bouts of ailments. Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la.
- Is DirecTV's guide malfunctioning, or has Nickelodeon stopped showing "Regal Academy?" Cause my guide has been showing SpongeBob, Alviiiin!, and that stupid show Gwen Stefani made about the Kuu Kuus and the Harajukus.
- MIRACULOUS LADYBUG CHRISTMAS SPECIAL TRAILERS!!!! The first one is in German or some similar language (if I'm incorrect, please tell me), and the second one is in French.
- The Christmas Special is coming out in France on December 11th, and the U.S. is estimated to get the episode about a week after. My goal is to stay as spoiler-free as possible by not checking any ML Twitter accounts from December 11th until then, because I want all the feelings to hit me like a brick. Please, NO CHRISTMAS SPECIAL SPOILERS UNTIL I POST MY REVIEW! Please and thank you.
- Oh yeah - review. Like I did with the end of "Winx" season seven, I'm going to be jotting down thoughts as I watch the episode, and then create some sort of synopsis thing-y for it. I want to do what I did for a lot of that season, where I write my reactions as I go, but I can't write as fast as I'd like to imagine, and I do not want to miss a single moment of whatever is gonna go down.
- I still have not seen "World of Winx" because I don't have Netflix. Maybe sometime when my family has money and we can afford Netflix again, I'll eventually watch WoW and make a reaction post review thing, but until that day, I'm waiting until Una di Noi Winx's review to get spoiled.
- I also have not seen Fantastic Beasts because no one else in my family likes Harry Potter, but I do know the basic jist of the plot. Colin Farrell is actually Johnny Depp in disguise, Credence explodes, Newt x Tina, Jacob x Queenie, Jacob's memories go bye-bye. Ta-da!
- On Sunday, I'm doing a special bonus! post to commemorate the first anniversary of this. (Holy crap.)

Good morning, Readers, it's Tuesday. So for the past few weeks I've been watching about nine years' worth of this Youtube channel called vlogbrothers. I feel like I should talk about them, considering that they (along with John's book "Paper Towns") have changed my outlook on life. So, I think it's really important to note that HOLD THE FRIKKIN' PHONE
*falls out of chair* WHAT NOW
*falls out of window* WHAT NOW *clears throat abruptly*Vlogbrothers. Right.
I think it is very important that there is a YouTube channel that has its own tax-deductible charity, that sponsors fourth-tier English soccer teams, that goes to places like Haiti and the Dominican Republic and shows what it's really like in these places, that can discuss legitimate problems in our society from both angles, and that can do so while understanding that there is never an easy answer. I also think it's very important that said YouTube channel can hump the town, talk about Evil Baby Orphanages and puppy-sized elephants, and can have its own winter holiday called Pizzamas that celebrates putting a mustachio'd young adult author's face on your torso. Readers, I'll see you tomorrow. In case you haven't seen the latest episode of "Regal Academy," Rose and Hawk had this big dramatic ball scene complete with a musical number and it was so adorable and *throws laptop at wall* NO.
Here's the thing. I'm really mad about how the writers are treating Travis. (And yes, this does have to with Rose and Hawk.) He's really the only character who has a major conflict in their family. Coach Beast wants him to be a Man™ (as in, one of those guys in "Old Spice" commercials), but Travis wants to be an artist. He has the potential to be one of the most interesting characters on the show, but he's treated as a comedic afterthought. "Regal Academy" is a very lighthearted show, and every character has their own really weird quirk, and I don't have a problem with that. I just wish that Travis wasn't always the character who does something stupid. This makes me mad because often, shy, dorky, artistic characters are my favorites, and I feel like we're all missing out on some amazingness. I have the same feelings on Joy (side note: that whole thing with her and Prince Esquire in this episode was hilarious), but I don't have as strong feelings for her character expansion because... *deep breath* I ship Rose and Travis. There, I said it. I just feel like Rose's nonstop energetic optimism and clumsiness, combined with Travis's sarcasm...I just ship it, okay? I ship it. And then there's Hawk. Ermahgerd, he's a prince who's good-looking, brave, charismatic, AND who is the love interest of the main character? That's never happened on anything before, ESPECIALLY considering that this is the company that made "Winx Club!" Although my ship love is very strong for...what should I call them? Ravis? Trose? Okay, definitely Ravis. Although I do ship Ravis very, very much, I can tolerate Rawk or Hose or whatever they're called if they give Hawk a little more depth of personality and make him a little less stereotypical. For example, there's that scene in the first episode where Hawk is like, "AN APPLE IN DANGER!" More Hawk-having-to-save-random-things-in-very-inconvenient-ways, please. Or at least get this poor child a bobby pin. It's got to be impossible for him to see anything. - The Writer Just warning you: it's kind of creepy. Harry PotterThis isn't really news, but it was recently announced that there are going to be five "Fantastic Beasts" movies. Are you hyped? Because you should be very, very hyped. And if you're not a Potterhead, then you should be very, very afraid, because in seventeen days, we are coming and we will never ever leave. Winx ClubCould someone please set up a fundraiser to get me and my family Netflix within the next three days? PLEASE? I NEED THIS SO MUCH. The animation looks really genuinely fantastic, the plot looks exciting, and I swear I heard Carrie Keranen (Alya from "Miraculous Ladybug") in the beginning. PLEASE. Miraculous LadybugWARNING! SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT! This movie poster - I NEED THIS MOVIE. I NEED IT I NEED IT I NEED IT I NEED IT I NEED IT. LOOK AT THE DETAILS ON THE LADYBUG SUIT. LOOK AT THE MINUSCULE HEXAGONS. LOOK AT THEM. Special episodes about previous Miraculous holders - Ferisae needs to be involved somehow. (If you have somehow never heard of Ferisae, just type the name into DeviantArt or Twitter and you'll find them.) Lindalee Rose cameo - (just type her name into YouTube) Um...yay? I'm not super thrilled. I mean, Lindalee's nice, and she's delivered news during fandom droughts, but... Le Paon is Hawk Moth's boss - ...duh. Webisodes aren't coming until January - *bangs head against wall; wall breaks* And thus concludes our Fandom Splurge. See you guys next week.
