But first off, I need to introduce her.

In season three, episode eighteen, (3x18, "The Museum of Magic"), we were introduced to "Ophir". He was Aisha's stalker...I mean, that guy who totally wasn't stalking her...
Okay, he was stalking her. To this day, I cannot get over that.
As Aisha is not stupid by any account, she yells at him, and storms off. Later in the episode, Valtor (the bad guy) gives them an ultimatum: hand over the shiny box or the stalker you just met twenty minutes ago dies. As the Winx refuse to let innocent people get hurt (and because plot), they let Ophir go. This causes Aisha and Tecna to hold a strong disliking towards him.
Skip ahead to "Beyond the Magic Dimension" (3x21). The Winx go to the Golden Kingdom to find stuff that isn't important to my point right now. Aisha discovers that Ophir turned invisible and joined them on the ship. He is locked in a cage, but the bars are lowered while Aisha's still in there wth him. Now they're stuck together.
Slowly she begins to learn things about him, and she realizes that they have a few things in common. After saving each other's lives a couple of times, Aisha and Ophir are in love two episodes later ("The Water Stars", 3x23).
Then Ophir drops a bombshell: his name is actually Nabu. Why is this important? He's the guy Aisha's parents set up for her to marry. Aisha and Nabu respectfully tell their parents that, while they did pick the right people for their kids, they needed to be able to decide for themselves when they got married. Which wasn't that long of a time. They got engaged in 4x11, "Superheroes". 14 episodes later. Every season is supposed to be representative of one school year, so I would categorize this as "rushed", wouldn't you?
SPOILER ALERT: Nabu dies in 4x24, "The Wizards' Trap".
Did Aisha remain heartbroken, never to date anyone ever again? Of course not.
In 5x06, "The Power of Harmonix", we get introduced to Roy. He's on the boat with Bloom, Stella, and Aisha when they go to Andros (why, I have no idea; I need to watch the episode again). He says, "Hey, this ocean is rough, I should go first." Aisha rebuttles with, "Um, we're Harmonix fairies, so screw you." (Okay, so they didn't ACTUALLY say that, but you get the point.)
Then, in episode 5x08 ("Secret of the Ruby Reef"), we find out that Roy has a crush on Aisha. He keeps getting inserted into the season, but not too often (he disappeared for about nine episodes in a row). They clearly did not think his character through.
In 5x24 ("Saving Paradise Bay"), Roy and Aisha have what I like to refer to as their goo-goo eyes moment. Roy gets hurt trying to protect a Selkie, and then he and Aisha look at each other aaaaaand....
Aisha: They're right behind me, aren't they?
Roy: Yep.
Okay, I lied. Winx Club has never been dubbed into Latin. But I still thought that was a pretty good estimate.
Nex develops a crush on Aisha, and Roy notices. In 6x03, "The Flying School", they have a fight while everyone else is training (or whatever else they're doing on Lynphea). Aisha and the teacher yell at them, and Aisha tells them to "cool off a bit." Tell that to next episode.
6x04, "Bloomix Power". The Winx and their boyfriend entourage are training in Aisha's gym. Nex does his turn epically. (And yes, that is a word). There's just one problem: Roy's doing better. So Nex kicks the final hoop away so Roy is left dangling off a platform. You can see it here: https://youtu.be/H_Wm5q7RcoI?t=446 (The spiky blue-haired guy is Nex, the spiky blond-haired guy is Roy, and the African-American girl is Aisha.)
And now, the fandom hates Nex. Which sucks for them, since Nex won the love triangle in 6x24 ("Legendary Duel"). Roy hasn't been seen since that episode. He basically just disappeared.
Frankly, I'm pretty neutral on this. Nabu was a stalker, Roy has three personalities (vain, possessive, and boring), and, while Nex has an actual nice side to his personality, he did a lot of stupid stuff just to impress Aisha.
That's the problem, guys. You can't intentionally try to impress my gender because you'll just end up looking stupid. (Well, unless you're Charlie Chaplin.)
